Position Overview:

 

Margaritaville’s Restaurant General Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their dining outlets, ensuring that guests have a positive experience.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of service within your assigned outlet
  • Foster a culture of exceptional guest service by resolving concerns promptly and consistently exceeding expectations
  • Evaluate product quality and identify new vendor opportunities to maintain high standards and improve cost efficiency
  • Complete administrative responsibilities such as reporting, forecasting, quality checks, and leading departmental meetings
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement strategies to boost productivity and team morale
  • Plan inventory needs for food, supplies, and cleaning materials to avoid shortages and reduce waste
  • Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and compliance standards to protect guests and team members
  • Support brand reputation by recommending and implementing initiatives that enhance the restaurant’s image
  • Monitor operational expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Represent the brand through local community involvement and promotional efforts, including event participation and social media engagement
  • Deliver ongoing training for both new and current team members to maintain high service and operational standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in food & beverage or hospitality management with a proven track record in roles such as Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality management, or similar positions
  • Exceptional leadership skills that can inspire, develop, and elevate team members to reach their fullest potential while holding them accountable to the highest standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Ability to lead by example, set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multitask
  • Ability to work in the Florida outdoor elements and be on your feet for most of your workday
  • Proven expertise in providing exceptional customer service experience in managerial capacities
  • Sound fiscal management skills, ensuring financial stewardship
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Positive, outgoing attitude and love for guest service
  • Good with restaurant or hotel systems (Toast POS experience a plus).
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Current (or willing to get) SERV Safe Food Manager.
  • Punctuality and a consistent record of attendance
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
