Position Overview

As a General Manager, you will oversee the daily and weekly operations of your restaurant with the support and guidance of your District Manager. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, training, coaching, and leading your team to achieve operational and financial goals.

Success in this role is measured by sales performance, cost controls, team member retention, and operational excellence—but most importantly, by guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences.


Manager Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Consistently seek out and hire "eggceptional" candidates who possess hospitality and a desire to care for others.

Operations Management

  • Manage one daytime operational shift.
  • Work alongside Front-of-House and Back-of-House teams.
  • Conduct inventory management and period inventories.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and restaurant performance.
  • Utilize technology and reporting tools to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Identify challenges and implement effective solutions.

Financial Performance

  • Monitor sales, labor, food costs, and overall profitability.
  • Maintain accountability for restaurant performance metrics.
  • Participate in performance-based compensation programs.
  • Operate with full transparency regarding restaurant financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team.
  • Experience and desire to develop team members.
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
