Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead a high-energy casual dining restaurant. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and delivers a welcoming, consistent guest experience.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus the opportunity to work approximately three tipped shifts per week, allowing you to stay connected to the guest experience while increasing your earning potential.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily restaurant operations with a focus on hospitality and efficiency
  • Hire, train, coach, and retain a strong front-of-house and back-of-house team
  • Create and manage staff schedules to optimize labor and service levels
  • Drive sales through local marketing, events, and community engagement
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional, timely manner
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls (food, beverage, and labor)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with high accountability
Floor Leadership & Tipped Shifts

  • Work approximately 3 shifts per week in a tipped role (server or bartender)
  • Lead from the floor during peak hours—setting the tone for service and energy
  • Actively engage with guests to enhance their experience and build repeat business
  • Support the team in real time to ensure smooth, efficient service
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a full-service casual dining restaurant (GM or AGM preferred)
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on management style
  • Proven ability to drive sales and manage costs effectively
  • Excellent communication and team development skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
