POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations
of a vibrant and elevated Mexican restaurant concept.
The ideal candidate will be a strong hospitality leader with a proven ability to build and engage teams, control costs,
manage inventory, develop vendor relationships, oversee purchasing, and drive exceptional guest experiences. This
is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional who understands that a successful restaurant is built
through great people, disciplined operations, financial accountability, and genuine hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Restaurant Operations
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and consistent operation.
• Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, safety standards, and operational
procedures.
• Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Inventory & Cost Control
• Manage food, beverage, and operating inventory with strong attention to accuracy and cost control.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, waste, portion control, and product utilization.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Implement procedures to minimize waste, loss, and unnecessary expenses.
• Partner with the culinary team to maintain food quality while achieving financial targets.
Purchasing & Vendor Management
• Manage ordering processes and ensure appropriate product levels based on business volume.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Review pricing, product quality, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
• Ensure all purchases are aligned with operational needs and budget expectations.
• Negotiate where appropriate to achieve the best value for the restaurant.
Leadership & Team Engagement
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop an exceptional restaurant team.
• Create a positive, respectful, and engaging work environment.
• Lead by example and maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Recognize and develop high-performing employees while addressing performance concerns appropriately.
• Build a culture where employees feel valued, motivated, and proud to be part of the team.
Guest Experience
• Deliver a warm, authentic, and memorable hospitality experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with regular guests and the local community.
• Address guest concerns professionally and use feedback to improve operations.
• Ensure service standards consistently reflect the quality and personality of the Mexican concept.
Financial & Business Management
• Monitor daily sales, labor costs, food and beverage costs, and other key performance indicators.• Review financial results and develop action plans to improve profitability.
• Manage labor scheduling according to business levels and financial objectives.
• Protect company assets and maintain appropriate controls.
• Work closely with ownership and leadership to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

• Ideally experienced within Mexican, Latin, upscale casual, or chef-driven restaurant concepts.
