Restaurant General Manager - Upscale Spanish Dining

We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead operations for a high-energy Upscale Spanish Tapas restaurant in Atlanta. The ideal candidate is a polished restaurant leader with a strong background in fine dining, upscale casual, or chef-driven hospitality, who understands exceptional service, beverage-driven dining, team development, and financial performance.

This role requires an owner’s mindset, strong operational discipline, and the ability to create a genuine hospitality culture while maintaining elevated service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually
• Location: Atlanta, GA 30306
• Experience: 3+ years of hospitality experience with proven leadership in fine dining or upscale restaurant operations

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Lead a polished, professional service culture focused on genuine hospitality.
• Ensure service staff consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Conduct table touches and proactively build guest relationships.
• Resolve guest concerns while protecting the restaurant's service standards.

Operations

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain exceptional standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Lead restaurant execution during high-volume service periods.
• Ensure consistent adherence to operational policies and procedures.

Financial & Administrative Management

• Monitor sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and overall profitability.
• Complete weekly payroll and tip reporting accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate internal accounting and operational systems.
• Use financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Sales & Marketing

• Manage the reservation system to maximize table availability, guest satisfaction, and sales.
• Support local marketing initiatives and community outreach.
• Build relationships that drive repeat business and restaurant sales.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train service team members.
• Develop managers and future leaders through coaching and mentorship.
• Train management to effectively train and develop their teams.
• Create clear opportunities for employee growth and promotion.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality experience with progressive restaurant leadership.
• Proven experience as a General Manager, Dining Room Manager, Lead Server, or comparable restaurant leader.
• Strong background in fine dining, upscale casual, chef-driven, or high-end full-service restaurants.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced dining environments.
• Strong knowledge of guest service, restaurant operations, labor management, and financial controls.
• Wine and beverage knowledge strongly preferred, particularly Spanish wine and craft cocktail programs.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during high-volume service.
