Picture yourself as a Host at Big Sky Resort, with the opportunity to:
Greet guests with genuine warmth while managing the host stand with a smile
Set the pace and flow of the dining room through excellent communication and smooth table coordination
Make positive, memorable first impressions with every interaction
Follow systems and procedures for guest seating, ensuring timely and accurate placement
Keep the host stand and entry areas organized, polished, and inviting
Support servers and front-of-house teammates by stepping in wherever needed
Develop and share local knowledge of Big Sky Resort to enhance the guest experience
Learn and follow our Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics to better serve our guests
Qualifications
Recipe for Success:
At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry
A strong passion for service and a guest-first attitude
An outgoing, upbeat personality with confident communication skills
A high-level understanding of dining room operations and table flow
Calm, collected energy under pressure with strong attention to detail
Clean work habits and a prideful approach to maintaining organized spaces
Adaptability to fast or steady paces depending on guest traffic
Commitment to consistency and established procedures
Availability for early morning, mid-day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
Must be able to carry a full tray with either hand
