    Responsibilities

    Picture yourself as a Host at Big Sky Resort, with the opportunity to:

    • Greet guests with genuine warmth while managing the host stand with a smile
    • Set the pace and flow of the dining room through excellent communication and smooth table coordination
    • Make positive, memorable first impressions with every interaction
    • Follow systems and procedures for guest seating, ensuring timely and accurate placement
    • Keep the host stand and entry areas organized, polished, and inviting
    • Support servers and front-of-house teammates by stepping in wherever needed
    • Develop and share local knowledge of Big Sky Resort to enhance the guest experience
    • Learn and follow our Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics to better serve our guests

    Qualifications

    Recipe for Success:

    • At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry
    • A strong passion for service and a guest-first attitude
    • An outgoing, upbeat personality with confident communication skills
    • A high-level understanding of dining room operations and table flow
    • Calm, collected energy under pressure with strong attention to detail
    • Clean work habits and a prideful approach to maintaining organized spaces
    • Adaptability to fast or steady paces depending on guest traffic
    • Commitment to consistency and established procedures
    • Availability for early morning, mid-day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
    • Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds
    • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
    • Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
    • Must be able to carry a full tray with either hand
