Job Overview:
As a Host, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the service of members and guests in the dining room. Greets and seats members/guests, maintains order and cleanliness and assures that member/guest satisfaction standards are consistently attained.
Your Responsibilities:
- Greets members and guests, seats members. Taking reservations, answering phone.
- Provide menus.
- Suggests and describes various appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wine to members and guests
- Handles member/guest complaints and problems and relays to Manager on Duty.
- Assures all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance of a clean and orderly area.
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
- Assists with table clearing and resetting as needed.
- Greet members upon their departure
Skills & Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Prior Food and Beverage experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.

Additional Information
Compensation: $15.00 per hour; paid bi-weekly
