Bertie's Restaurant is looking for a warm, welcoming Hostess to be the first face guests see when they walk through our doors! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic front-of-house team in Brandon, FL, where great food meets exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists using seating management systems - Open Table
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area

Requirements:

• Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, outgoing personality with a guest-first attitude
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
