Restaurant Line Cook

We are looking for a hardworking Line Cook to prepare delicious entrees for our customers. You will assist the lead cook with inventory, prep, dish preparation, plating, and kitchen cleaning. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant, be a part of a growing wine bar cafe, and be a part of a family-owned business.

Hours for the position are Wednesday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Check inventory for ingredients and supplies, noting when more need to be ordered
• Prepping ingredients before each meal service
• Preparing dishes following the exact recipe instructions
• Plating and garnishing dishes before they are served
• Cleaning work areas in the kitchen

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant kitchen is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety rules and procedures
• Flexible schedule

Once a 19th-century farmhouse, it has become a community treasure.
