The intent of the F&B internship program is to allow the student practical work experience in the hospitality industry.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Accountable for all training program tasks and project responsibilities as assignedGreets all guests and provides outstanding customer serviceAssist guests with cash, gift card, and credit card transactionsPerforms food-handling and service dutiesAnswers questions relating to all F&B productsPerform any other job-related duties as requested to include, but not limited to answering phones, administrative duties and assisting with meal period set upMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current student or graduated within the last year studying hospitality management, restaurant management or related degreeMust have or be able to receive a Food Handlers CertificateAbility to meet deadlines and work with internal team members while maintaining a self-directed approach to ongoing projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and professional demeanorDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceAble to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the workplaceAvailable 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and game daysWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to bend, reach, and lift 50 poundsMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functionsWorkplace environment has intermittent noise, generally moderate in nature, but can be loud at times especially during competitions and eventsExposure to heat, cold and other elements
