Prime is seeking is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Managers who will assist with day-to-day operations of all (FOH) front of house team members while driving sales, managing costs, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the capability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members. 


Essential Responsibilities + Duties
 

Operations Management

  • Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily shifts (including opening and closing shifts)
  • Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement and monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Ensure that all paperwork, documentation, reporting and administrative duties are completed accurately and on a timely basis.

Guests Service

  • Manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure efficient table service
  • Build rapport and establish relationships with guests to foster a loyal customer base and increase the likelihood of repeat business and positive reviews
  • Listen actively and empathetically to defuse tense situations and resolve guests’ issues quickly and professionally.

Staff Management

  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, bussers, and hosts.
  • Clearly communicate job expectations and monitor, address and document individual employee performance through on-going feedback, positive recognition, formal performance reviews, coaching and, when necessary, disciplinary action
  • Hold team members accountable to company policies, safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. 
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, and employee health standards.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

 

Education + Experience Requirements 

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant; fine dining or upscale dining experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
  • Wine certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent) preferred; advanced wine knowledge required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid Allergen, Sanitation and ServSafe Certifications required

 

Work Context and Physical Demands

  • Have a high level of social contact; Work very near customers and coworkers. 
  • Often work indoors, but may work outdoors on occasion.
  • Must be able to be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time; use their hands to handle or control objects and tools
  • Must be able to speak clearly so listeners can understand and understand the speech of another person.
  • Often work 50 hours or more per week.
  • Often work nights and weekends
