What You’ll Do

As the Restaurant Manager, you will help oversee the daily operations of the restaurant while supporting a culture of teamwork, excellence, and hospitality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on food quality, safety, timeliness, and member satisfaction
  • Assisting with cooking, meal preparation, and service as needed
  • Preparing fresh foods using standardized recipes, including scratch-made items
  • Monitoring staffing schedules and adjusting staffing levels to support smooth operations
  • Training, mentoring, and cross-training team members using established onboarding programs and organizational values
  • Coaching staff to ensure accountability for cleaning, sanitation, and job responsibilities
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring compliance with Indiana State Board of Health standards
  • Supporting inventory management and supply monitoring
  • Attending food committee meetings and collaborating closely with leadership
  • Creating a positive, team-focused environment that reflects LLV’s mission and values

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about food service and hospitality
  • A strong communicator and team leader
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role
  • Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications

  • ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
  • Certified Dietary Manager and/or Certified Food Protection certification preferred
  • 3–4 years of food service experience preferred
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
