The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist in managing food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service, maximize profitability, maintain compliance, and enhance guest satisfaction through effective planning, team development, and operational excellence.
HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE
Maintain consistent food and beverage quality and uphold exceptional guest service standards.
Support achieving budgeted revenues and expenses while maximizing profitability in the food and beverage department.
Assist in preparing the annual hotel budget.
Conduct ongoing evaluations of products and services to maintain quality standards.
Investigate and address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
Monitor the performance of the restaurant and banquets to ensure customer satisfaction and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborate on local and national sales and marketing programs related to food and beverage offerings.
Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational plans for the department in line with overall hotel objectives.
Establish and oversee preventative maintenance programs to safeguard restaurant and banquet assets.
Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all equipment post-events.
Foster employee growth through training, development, and motivation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory control procedures.
Implement and adhere to financial transaction security and credit control protocols.
Address and resolve departmental guest concerns promptly and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively.
Collaborate with the sales department to project future business needs and workloads.
Assist with the setup of function rooms according to client and sales specifications.
Other duties assigned by the Leader.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or Business
2-4 years of experience in food and beverage operations or hospitality management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
