Restaurant Manager

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Oliver Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Position Details:

We are looking for a driven professional who takes pride in providing exceptional experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate must have experience in managing large teams and experience in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee the staff schedules.

• Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.

• Handle customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.

• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.

• Estimate food and beverage costs.

• Hire and train restaurant staff.

• Manage inventory and purchase food and supplies.

• Conduct daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.

• Periodically evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.

• Maintain sales records and track cash receipts.

• Prepare and submit operations reports and other documentation requested by the F&B Director.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.

• Must be eligible to work in the USA

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
