Position Summary
The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional, personalized dining experiences to guests by delivering attentive, efficient, and professional service. This role plays a key part in upholding the standards of a luxury hospitality environment while ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a high level of attentive, personalized service
- Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages
- Accurately take and input orders into the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner with proper presentation
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience
- Process payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and tables
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings is a plus
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service
- Valid TABC Certification required
- Food Handler Certification preferred
