Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented individual to join our team in a front-of-house role. The ideal candidate will help create a welcoming dining experience by providing timely, accurate, and professional service to guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage options, and make recommendations when appropriate
- Take guest orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Check in with guests throughout their visit to ensure satisfaction and address requests
- Coordinate with kitchen and support staff to help ensure smooth service
- Process payments accurately and handle transactions with care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent guest service
- Ability to remain professional, calm, and organized during peak service times
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and menu presentation
- Experience using point-of-sale systems
