Service Manager to join the leadership team in NE Philadelphia.
The Service Manager is the Key Driver of the floor. You are responsible for ensuring that their service standards remain elite, even when the books are completely full and the bar is three-deep. You will focus intensely on the guest journey, staff mechanics, and the seamless flow between the kitchen and the dining room.
Key Responsibilities- Lead high energy shifts, managing a large floor team of diverse servers, runners, and bussers. You are the primary point of contact for resolving real-time service bottlenecks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review specials, VIP guests, and service "touchpoints."
- Direct involvement in the ongoing training and performance evaluation of the FOH staff. You will help bridge the gap between "good" service and "exceptional" experiences.
- Actively "touch" tables throughout the night, building relationships with regulars and expertly navigating any guest concerns to ensure everyone leaves satisfied.
- Assist in managing the bar program, ensuring speed of service, consistency in cocktails.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to manage pacing, turn times, and the synergy between the FOH and BOH.
Requirements:- 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or hotel environment.
- A deep understanding of the Philly dining scene and the expectations for this upscale restaurant.
