Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager

What You'll Be DoingKey ResponsibilitiesDuring Service

• Supervise 5-10 staff members during shifts (servers, bartenders, hosts, runners)
• Oversee guest seating, order flow, and dining experience
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate appropriately
• Ensure all service standards are met (timing, accuracy, cleanliness)
• Monitor table turnover rates and adjust staffing as needed

Operational Duties

• Open or close the restaurant according to checklist standards
• Count drawers, and reconcile cash,
• Verify health & safety compliance during service
• Communicate with kitchen staff on timing and special requests
• Assist with expediting
• Assist with Bartending

Team Leadership

• Train new staff on service procedures and POS system
• Coach team members on performance and customer service
• Report issues to General Manager in real-time
• Support scheduling needs when requested
