About the Role

A Potbelly Shift Leader brings the team together to make lunch something customers look forward to. You'll lead by example-keeping the energy high, the service fast and friendly, and the food consistently great in a clean, inviting environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee smooth shift operations and create a positive guest experience
• Lead and support team members, assign tasks, and provide feedback
• Follow all safety, security, and opening/closing procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Manage labor, food costs, and waste
• Handle cash procedures and balance drawers accurately

Basic Qualifications

• You can handle potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
• You can handle the ambient heat of the kitchen
• You're at least 18 years old
• You're able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours or as needed
• You're able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally
