Our Restaurant Team Members play an important role in creating a great experience for every guest. Whether you’re working as a Cook, Cashier, Kitchen Team Member, or Food Service Team Member, you’ll help prepare quality food, provide friendly service, maintain a clean and safe environment, and keep the restaurant running efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare food and ingredients according to recipes, menu specifications, and company standards.
Cook and assist with preparing menu items while maintaining quality, consistency, and proper portion sizes.
Monitor food to ensure it is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets quality standards.
Safely operate kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, stovetops, and other restaurant equipment.
Properly handle and store food to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
Guest Service & Cashier Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to every guest.
Accurately take and process customer orders.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and other forms of payment accurately.
Answer guest questions and assist with requests in a positive and professional manner.
Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests.
Cleanliness & Food Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary restaurant and kitchen.
Clean work areas, countertops, equipment, dishes, and other areas as needed.
Follow all food safety, health, sanitation, and company safety guidelines.
Properly dispose of food waste and maintain appropriate waste management procedures.
Follow proper food rotation practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out).
Stock & Inventory
Assist with stocking food, beverages, supplies, utensils, and other restaurant items.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
Keep storage areas organized and ensure products are properly stored.
Teamwork & Operations
Work effectively with other restaurant and travel center team members to meet guest demand.
Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Help maintain an efficient workflow during busy periods.
Assist with training new team members when needed.
Follow established restaurant procedures, recipes, portion sizes, and service standards.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
