Job Position: Emergency Property Restoration Technician

With a 'One Team' mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean® production guidelines. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.

Job Requirements:

  • One or more years' experience within service based industry
  • Ability to work well with peers and customers
  • Effective communication verbally and in writing
  • Good work ethics, English is a requirement
  • Good driving record
  • Flexibility to work after hours, holidays, and on call when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Willingness to learn and adapt under varying circumstances
  • Ability to follow instructions and make decisions
  • Ability to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience using moisture meters is a plus
  • Ability to wear a full body suit, full face respirator and work in confined spaces and hot working environments with limited visibility on occasion
  • IICRC/WTR certification is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold
  • Survey damage within the property
  • Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
  • Cleaning process for both contents and structural damage
  • Demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools
  • Clean up assigned job sites after demolition
  • Perform initial site visits
  • Conduct moisture inspections
  • Set restoration equipment within guidelines
  • Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary App (MICA)
  • Contact the customer of assigned jobs with ETA
  • Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process
  • Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment
  • Keep equipment clean and organized in the warehouse
  • Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas
  • Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assigned
  • IICRC certifications (IICRC classes offered from time to time)
  • Assist in the development of new hires through on the job training

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
