SERVPRO of Eastern Lake County, located in Hobart Indiana, is looking for hard-working Restoration and Production Technicians to join our local emergency cleanup team.
In this role, you will help local families and businesses recover after fire, water, and mold disasters. This is an active, labor-intensive position perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and helping the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Demolition & Extraction: Perform controlled demolition work, remove damaged materials, and extract water/sewer backups from affected buildings.
- Property Restoration: Clean and treat structural elements including walls, ceilings, floors, carpets, and air ducts.
- Specialized Cleaning: Remove soot, smoke, and water damage using professional-grade equipment and techniques. Includes detailed pack outs/content cleaning.
- Detailed Contents Cleaning: Restore smoke, water, and soot-damaged items, including furniture, upholstery, and delicate personal property.
- Structural Cleaning: Perform detailed cleaning of walls, floors, and ceilings in affected residential and commercial properties.
- Team Collaboration: Assist crew chiefs on-site to ensure safety protocols and restoration standards are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
- You must have a clean background. Background checks are performed on every employee annually
- You must be insurable for driving.
- You must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Overtime and being on call is mandatory. We are a 24 hour emergency service business, 365 days a year. Please do not apply if you cannot work at a moments notice
