Insight Restoration is seeking a dependable, hardworking Restoration Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will help residential and commercial customers recover from water, fire, storm, and mold damage. Key Responsibilities
- Perform water, fire, mold, and storm restoration services according to work orders, IICRC standards, and supervisor direction
- Complete demolition, drying, cleaning, mitigation, and restoration activities
- Prepare job sites and contain affected areas to ensure safe and efficient work
- Load and maintain vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies for each project
- Document work performed, upload photos, and communicate project updates
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and professional job site appearance
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, customers, and subcontractors
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Experience in water, fire, storm, mold remediation, or contents restoration preferred
- Commercial restoration experience strongly preferred
- IICRC certifications are a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Basic computer and mobile app proficiency (Microsoft Office, photos, job management software, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Schedule & Availability
- Participation in rotating on-call schedule required(approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month)
- Occasional travel, including out-of-state projects, may be required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift 30–40 lbs. and occasionally 50+ lbs. with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to work around cleaning agents, chemicals, and restoration equipment
