    Restorative Aide (CNA Required) – Skilled Nursing Facility
    Wauneta, Nebraska
    Full-Time | Monday–Friday Schedule

    Our skilled nursing facility in Wauneta, Nebraska is seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Aide to join our care team. This position is ideal for a CNA who enjoys helping residents improve their independence, mobility, and quality of life in a supportive long-term care environment.

    A Restorative Aide is an advanced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with specialized training in rehabilitative and restorative care. In this role, you will work closely with nursing staff and therapy teams to help residents regain and maintain their highest possible level of physical function following illness, injury, or surgery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and exercises
    • Encourage mobility, strength, balance, and independence with daily activities
    • Support walking, range-of-motion, transfer, and positioning programs
    • Document resident progress and report changes to nursing staff
    • Work collaboratively with therapy and nursing departments
    • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care

    Qualifications:

    • Current CNA certification required
    • Previous long-term care or restorative experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident dignity and independence
