Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting the company’s products by initiating and creating good working relationships with customers and our suppliers.
 
Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
  • Meets trucks & restock customer shelves and displays
  • Maintain Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company products at store locations
  • Execute sales representative’s display requests (bookings) on a timely basis
  • Properly account for work done i.e. cases, pricing, date etc. by using Company display software and integrated digital camera
  • Assist with new chain store openings and chain store shelf resets
  • Utilize various equipment such as a pallet jack, two wheeled hand truck, U-boat, case cutter, and price gun
  • Build and maintain good rapport working with retail owners, managers, and clerks while keeping a professional attitude toward assignments
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required
Must have previous sales experience
Previous knowledge of the alcohol industry (bartender, wait staff, liquor store) a plus

Skills/Requirements:
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license, with a satisfactory driving record.  The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment; ability to work calmly under pressure with strong communication skills is a must.  All candidates must demonstrate a basic level of proficiency within Microsoft Office applications. This role requires lifting and carrying of a 50+ pound case of product as well as pushing/pulling in excess of 200+ pounds utilizing a two-wheel hand truck or U-Boat on a regular basis and could require the individual to lift, carry, and climb ladders.  Repeatedly bend, reach, walk, and twist while handling product weighing 5 pounds to 55 pounds during a normal workday. This role requires extensive travel throughout assigned territory; at times in extreme weather conditions.
 
Compensation:
Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a starting hourly pay between $22.00 to $30.00/hour including bonus incentives. The hourly range is an average pay range for this position
