Retail and Cafe Supervisor
The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Retail & Café Supervisor to lead our retail and café operations across all three of our campuses. This role requires a flexible schedule, with the ability to work any day of the week based on the needs of the team, and the ability to work at our Papago Park, South Mountain, and Sunnyslope Campuses. Day in the Life:
Our Retail & Café Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of three retail stores, one full service café, and one micro market, splitting time between all locations. This hands on leader ensures staff and volunteers are trained, supported, scheduled, and performing to standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, staffing, scheduling, payroll, inventory, merchandising, product and menu offerings, promotions, cleanliness, and health and safety compliance. The Supervisor will also assist with hiring, performance management, volunteer coordination, and provide direct coverage during staffing shortages, including one scheduled day of café service each week.
This role requires a proactive, creative, and results driven leader who takes initiative to improve policies, procedures, workflows, and customer experiences. The Supervisor will manage budgets and financial reporting, monitor sales and inventory, reduce waste, identify new products and market opportunities, and research competitors and trends. The ideal candidate leads with enthusiasm and exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands for the handling of pets, tools, boxes, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
