As our Retail Asset Protection Specialist, you blend customer service with vigilant security to protect people, property, and profits.

A day in this role

From the moment you arrive, you’re on the move. You’ll spot irregularities before they become incidents, coach teammates on smart prevention habits, and capture clear, accurate records whenever something occurs. When needed, you’ll coordinate with local law enforcement—always with professionalism and respect.

What you will do

• Patrol sales floors, backrooms, and entry/exit points to discourage theft and foster a safe environment.
• Lead objective, thorough inquiries into suspected shoplifting or internal theft.
• Coordinate with law enforcement partners when appropriate.
• Document events, evidence, and outcomes with precise, timely incident reports.
• Coach and educate store associates on loss prevention policies and techniques.
• Operate and review CCTV and other surveillance systems to monitor in-store activity.
• Contribute to the creation and rollout of shrink-reduction strategies and procedures.
• Deliver attentive, service-first interactions while maintaining strong security presence.

What sets you up for success

• High school diploma or GED; criminal justice or related coursework is a plus.
• Background in loss prevention, security, or closely related work preferred.
• Keen situational awareness and exceptional attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Proficiency with video surveillance tools and digital reporting systems.
• Calm, steady decision-making under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
