This position plays an important role in supporting our expanding online sales operation by operating our book machine and helping ensure our stores remain stocked with books and media.As a member of Goodwill's eCommerce department, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on maximizing the value of donated goods. Revenue generated through eCommerce sales directly supports Goodwill's mission to provide job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs throughout our region.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is interested in developing skills related to online listing, product handling, inventory management, and shipping operations.Due to the nature of the work and the warehouse environment, you must be a high school graduate, at least 18 years of age, and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSort incoming inventory received from store teamsEnsure accurate listing and inventory management of eBook productsProperly identify and categorize materials as sellable or salvageableConduct regular inventory recovery by removing unsold items and maintaining accurate product categorizationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all agency safety policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to address safety concerns proactivelyQualifications and Physical RequirementsCandidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include but are not limited to:Frequent standingFrequent bilateral reaching and handlingConstant use of fingers and a pinch gripAbility to lift and carry up to 20 poundsOccasional shoulder-height reaching with either hand or use of a firm graspFrequent bendingAbility to squat as neededAbility to push and pull less than 20 poundsAdditional RequirementsBackground check requiredGoodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
