Great Lakes Outreach Wisconsin is expanding in Milwaukee and has immediate openings for full-time Retail Associates.


If you have a background in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or simply enjoy working directly with people, this is an opportunity to put those skills to use while representing nonprofit organizations in the local community.


Rather than traditional store duties such as stocking or operating a register, our Retail Associates focus on the customer-facing side of the experience. You'll work at established retail locations, speak with customers about the nonprofit campaigns we represent, answer questions, and help those campaigns connect with more people.


A Typical Day


Your day will involve working alongside a small team at one of our retail locations. You'll spend most of your time interacting with customers, introducing the campaign you're representing, explaining its purpose, and helping interested individuals learn how they can get involved.


You'll also:

•  Learn the key information for each campaign you represent 
•  Approach and engage customers throughout your shift 
•  Adapt your conversation depending on the person you're speaking with 
•  Answer questions clearly and professionally 
•  Work toward individual and team performance goals 
•  Keep up to date with campaign changes and client information

Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, promotions, fundraising, or sales experience is useful, but we’re open to different backgrounds.


Pay, Training & Development


This is a W-2 position with weekly base pay plus performance-based earnings.


New team members receive hands-on training before taking on the role independently, followed by ongoing coaching as they develop.


We also provide opportunities to learn more about campaign operations and take on additional responsibility based on performance.
