As a Retail Associate at Maumee Bay Lodge's Gift Shop, you will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly, outgoing manner as the enter the store
- Assist customers in finding products and specific sizes
- Demonstrate new or unusual items to guests
- Up-sell and suggestion sell on every purchase
- Open and/or close store according to established procedures
- Process transactions using the POS system according to standard operating procedures
- Answer phone in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Assist with counting inventory, as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Customer service skills
- Cash / Credit card handling experience preferred
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must have full range of motion.
- Must be able to climb a stepladder.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must have outstanding communication skills.
- Must be friendly, helpful, and outgoing.
- Must be available evenings, weekends & holidays
