Retail Associate - PART TIME - Versailles KY Distillery - $18/hr

Create a welcoming, hospitable environment for every guest while delivering a premium retail experience that exceeds expectations.

This is a part-time position that requires consistent weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, up-to-date product knowledge to gift shop customers
• Take customer orders and process transactions
• Operate the retail POS system
• Handle cash accurately
• Resolve minor customer issues and escalate when necessary
• Deliver premium hospitality and customer service
• Restock shelves and rotate merchandise
• Perform light daily cleaning
• Operate bottle engraving equipment when assigned
• Answer gift shop phone calls and accurately relay messages
• Assist with floor resets as needed
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Monitor supply levels and report needs to leadership
• Communicate inventory questions or needs to the inventory specialist
• Maintain presentation and organization of the gift shop throughout the day
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in hospitality or customer service

Age

• Must be at least 21 years old

Schedule

• Availability to work 2–3 weekends per month, holidays, and evenings (when open)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to move, bend, and reach as required
