Retail Banking Marketing Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Employment Type: Temporary | 18+ Months
Compensation: $55-$60/hour

Bring your banking marketing experience to a high-impact role supporting marketing across a large retail branch network. You'll manage multiple initiatives from planning through implementation while partnering across Marketing, Risk, Legal, Compliance, creative, and agency teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking marketer who can translate business objectives into effective branch marketing and merchandising solutions while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, execution, and optimization of branch channel marketing campaigns
• Translate business objectives into effective branch marketing and merchandising solutions
• Manage projects from planning through implementation
• Manage the development and execution of large marketing campaigns
• Lead creative development with agency and partner teams
• Manage program execution across multiple initiatives
• Analyze and report on campaign performance
• Work across a highly matrixed organization while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and related training
• 7+ years of related experience in marketing, channel marketing, retail marketing, program management, marketing communications, or related disciplines
• Experience in consumer banking, retail banking, lending, deposits, cards, wealth, or small business marketing
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment requiring Risk, Legal, and Compliance reviews
• In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the marketing discipline, including Marketing P's, marketing research, analytics, and digital
• Experience managing or leading projects or project workstreams and operating as a lead in a specialty capacity
• Experience managing the development and execution of large marketing campaigns
• Experience leading creative development with agency and partner teams
• Strong project management skills in managing program execution
• Ability to analyze and report on campaign performance
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting retail branch networks, physical channel marketing, signage, merchandising, or customer experience programs
• Experience managing agency partners, print production, signage vendors, or marketing fulfillment partners
• Familiarity with Workfront, Aprimo, or similar workflow/project management tools
• Experience leveraging customer insights, market research, and performance analytics to improve marketing effectiveness
• MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the U.S. Hispanic consumer market, including cultural insights, consumer behaviors, and factors influencing engagement and marketing effectiveness
• Spanish fluency - written and verbal, with the ability to support development, review, and execution of Spanish-language marketing initiatives, communications, and customer-facing materials
