Position Overview:
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable
Retail Barista & Customer Service Associates to join our team.
Our Retailers are the face of Paris Baguette. You'll welcome guests, prepare beverages, assist with orders, maintain beautiful product displays, and help keep our café clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready.
Timings:
Morning/Opening: 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Evening/Closing: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to every guest.
- Greet guests with a smile and assist them with menu questions and recommendations.
- Take orders and accurately operate the POS system.
- Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, and other drinks according to Paris Baguette standards.
- Maintain and refill pastry, cake, beverage, and retail displays.
- Check product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper rotation.
- Keep counters, tables, displays, beverage stations, and guest areas clean and organized.
- Restock supplies during slower periods so the team is prepared for busy periods.
- Handle cash and credit-card transactions accurately.
- Work efficiently and support fellow team members during busy periods.
- Follow all Paris Baguette food-safety, uniform, cleanliness, and customer-service standards.
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow FIFO and proper product rotation.
- Keep storage and inventory areas organized.
- Report low-stock, damaged, or expired items to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, barista, restaurant, or customer-service experience preferred.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn Paris Baguette products and beverage standards.
- Food-handler certification preferred.
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional Benefits:
- Starting pay: $14.00 per hour + tips
- Total hourly earnings may reach approximately $18-20/hour depending on tip volume. Tips are variable and not guaranteed.
