Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in an office administration position, with data review, interpretation, and reporting experience
- Safe Mark or equivalent acquired within the first year of work – Food Safety Manager Certification

- ability to remain flexible and calm in stressful situations and handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- ability to prioritize work, work under deadlines, and handle a high volume of work accurately

- strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat
- accurate computer typing skills at 40-50 wpm

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or Food Safety or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in an office administration position, with data review, interpretation, and reporting experience
- 2 years of food retail experience (i.e. grocery, restaurant)
- NEHA Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS)
- ability to become familiar with the company structure, the responsible parties, and their primary roles
- ability to become familiar with the applicable Retail Manager References Library (MRL), RBUs Reference and Procedures (R&P) Guides, Retail Preparedness Guide (RPG), other Publix food safety related materials, the current FDA Model Food Code and state food standards
- working knowledge of the regulatory inspection process along with other routine and non-routine regulatory processes
- Publix Retail experience
- general food safety knowledge
