Pay Range: $20 - $21/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.).
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and assist Museum visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Process POS transactions, including cash and credit/debit card payments.
- Fulfill telephone and e-commerce orders.
- Receive, organize, process, and stock merchandise.
- Restock products and maintain attractive, organized retail displays.
- Complete daily sales reports.
- Answer visitor questions and communicate daily Museum activities and events.
- Assist visitors with interactive exhibits, including flight simulators.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the visitor experience.
- Assist with Museum operations and special events as needed.
- Help resolve routine customer or visitor concerns professionally.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, guest services, museums, attractions, tourism, or similar environments is preferred.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public.
- Ability to actively listen and maintain positive body language.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and solve routine customer issues.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, or retail transactions is a plus.
- Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts consistently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
