About the Role: Retail Loan Booking Specialist

This role is mainly responsible for inputting retail loans into the loan core system and ensuring that loan files are properly scanned and organized. The position requires a solid understanding of loan documentation, attention to detail, proficiency with computers, the capacity to manage multiple tasks, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Book incoming closed loans to our system while checking for accuracy
• Complete booking loan maintenance
• Record security documents for collateral
• Scan loan documents into our system for file retention and file loan notes.
• Log and sort incoming mail including our interoffice bags on a daily basis.
• Work with title companies to secure our final title.
• Work with lenders to complete and clear exceptions.
• Log incoming loans and go through incoming mail
• Complete weekly duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Experience in mortgage operations and/or banking preferred
• Must be able to establish good working priorities, organize work, meet deadlines and adjust to changes in priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have strong written skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to details
