Position Overview Reporting to the Merchandising Director, Moncler Main Lines, the Retail Merchandiser, Women's & Enfant is responsible for defining, curating, and managing assortments across the retail network for the Women's and Enfant categories. This role ensures that seasonal collections are translated into store and cluster assortments that reflect the Moncler brand, client needs, and commercial objectives. Partnering closely with Allocation, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Management, the Retail Merchandiser identifies and maximizes sales opportunities while ensuring a consistent and elevated client experience across the retail network. Your Impact Your Impact Seasonal Buying Participate in seasonal buying sessions in Milan for Women's & Enfant, ensuring alignment with global merchandising and product strategy. Develop store and cluster assortments tailored to client profiles, store capacity, market dynamics, and regional objectives. Balance fashion innovation, brand priorities, and commercial drivers to maximize productivity across categories. Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to translate assortment priorities into impactful floor sets, product stories, and launch presentations. In-Season Management Monitor weekly sales performance by store, category, and SKU; identify bestsellers, underperformers, risks, and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions. Recommend commercial initiatives to Retail partners to sustain business momentum and maximize sales opportunities. Partner with Allocation on stock consolidations and rebalancing to maximize sales and sell-through. Ensure assortments remain aligned with brand strategy while addressing local market and client opportunities. Partner with Retail and Store Management to support special events, VIC appointments, pop-ups, trunk shows, and other client-focused initiatives. Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with Retail Management to deliver assortments, product priorities, and messaging that support store KPIs. Partner with Visual Merchandising to align product displays with strategic priorities, seasonal launches, and commercial opportunities. Provide Global Merchandising and Product teams with feedback on regional performance, client insights, product opportunities, and assortment needs. Work with Retail, Training, and CRM teams to support store initiatives and develop relevant product and training materials. Reporting & Insights Prepare selling recaps and qualitative feedback for regional leadership and Global Merchandising teams. Deliver clear, action-oriented reporting that highlights key business drivers, risks, and opportunities across Women's & Enfant. Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client preferences to inform assortment decisions and identify opportunities. Develop product presentations and materials to support store teams and key business initiatives. Professional Conduct & Teamwork Mentor and support junior team members. Travel Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (30%) Qualifications Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience). Work Experience 5 years of retail merchandising or buying experience, preferably within luxury fashion. Core Skills & Attributes Strong merchandising acumen with the ability to balance brand DNA, client needs, and commercial objectives. Strong knowledge of luxury retail. Proven expertise in seasonal buying, store-level assortment building, and in-season trading. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH. Ability to interpret sales and product performance data and translate insights into clear commercial actions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passion for luxury fashion, product, and the client experience. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and cross-functional partnership skills. Compensation and Benefits For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000. In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation time, 2 personal days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution. The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan.
