Schedule: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, 10 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay: $18/hr
You can make up $13K as a worker if you work this whole assignment!
This is an ongoing position at a Walmart store location and requires the successful completion of a PAID 2 hour VOLT Certification course. ONLY accept if you are able to commit to the entire schedule.
Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, or other accessories, as shown in prepared sketches.
- Change or rotate window displays, interior display areas, or signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
- Place prices or descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
- Consult with store managers, buyers, sales associates, housekeeping staff, or engineering staff to determine appropriate placement of displays or products.
- Transfer components, metal products, or assemblies, using moving equipment.
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
- Maintain and clean equipment, work areas, or shelves.
- Assemble or set up displays, furniture, or products in store space, using colors, lights, pictures, or other accessories to display the product.
What You'll Do- Moving & Building: Move, install, assemble, and deconstruct merchandise fixtures (gondolas, T-Systems, counters) and salesfloor steel (7 ft or shorter). Install basic and complex fixtures, cases, and service areas using basic hand tools/cordless drills. Install basic electronic equipment. Efficiently load/unload fixtures and remove/install cash wraps/counters as directed.
- Basic Merchandising: Complete planograms and counter detailing. Install/profile shelves, peg hooks, and racks. Apply labeling, set merchandise per planograms, and manage Top Stock/excess inventory. Install category displays and stock end cap features.
- Care & Safety: Keep fixtures clean, maintain a safe, organized work environment, and occasionally climb ladders.
What You'll Need- YOU MUST WEAR A SOLID NAVY SHIRT/SWEATER/POLO.
- Retail merchandising/setting/stocking experience and ability to read and set planograms preferred.
- Skills: Reliable transportation. Ability to follow directions and adapt. Experience in retail merchandising/setting/stocking preferred. Ability to read planograms.
- Tools: Basic hand tools (drill, mallet, screwdrivers, etc.).
