Retail Merchandiser (South Central CA)

Essential Functions:

• Drive to and from various customers as assigned.
• Operate a personal vehicle safely while keeping an eye out for traffic, buildings, and pedestrians.
• Stock shelves and take an accurate inventory
• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with Producers Dairy Foods products in accounts assigned by the Sales Manager
• Eliminate out-of-stocks and out of date product through effective order taking
• Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory
• Maintain store shelves and storage cooler by rotating product, removing out of date product, cleaning and facing shelves
• Maintain customer relationships by visiting with store managers, store dairy department managers and store employees; answer their questions, respond to special requests and sell Producers Dairy Foods product
• Utilize Producers Dairy Foods Point-of-Sale materials and promotions
• Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
• Receive messages verbally or through email. Have the ability to convey the message to the appropriate individual.
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, and able to follow directions
• Able to work well independently
• Effectively and professionally interconnect with all levels and departments of the Company, its customers and vendors to achieve goals.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented, be able to set priorities and take the initiative to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on-time
• Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Ability to work flexible work schedule, including some holidays
• Prefer 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

Hourly Rate: $22.25 - $24.72

Territory: South Central CA - Hanford, Dinuba, Visalia, Sanger
