Retail Pharmacy Technician in Clovis, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A well-established health center in the Clovis, CA area is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 5-6 months. This role involves supporting daily retail pharmacy operations within a community health setting, ensuring accurate dispensing and excellent patient service.

Location: Clovis, CA (Candidates likely from Fresno area with a 20+ minute commute to Selma; no mileage reimbursement)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail/community pharmacy technician duties within the health center environment
• Assist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain organized inventory and assist with Rx30 pharmacy system tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff
• Adhere strictly to pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Demonstrate punctuality and outstanding attendance — reliability is essential

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy technician experience
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License; PTCB certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred
• Strong commitment to reliability with no tolerance for tardiness or absences
• Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred but not required
