Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, timely prescription services. This role combines hands-on pharmacy support with administrative and customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule
- Approximately 80 hours per biweekly pay period
- Primarily 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Every 6th Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- No evening shifts beyond scheduled hours
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Process prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Stock inventory and maintain an organized pharmacy workspace
- Support daily pharmacy operations and general clerical duties
Qualifications
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Pharmacy Technician certification a plus
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Willing to become registered with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician
