About Us
We are a family-owned jewelry company opening a jewelry showroom and art gallery in Bremerton. The environment is made to be relaxing and calm. We have an established ecommerce presence across multiple platforms and we're building a retail experience to match the quality of what we sell.
The Role
You'll handle whatever the day brings, walk-in customers, a stack of online orders to pack and ship, emails to answer, platforms to manage, and you'll do it carefully and consistently, the way we've set it up to run. We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about doing the job right, every shift, without someone standing over their shoulder.
Additional tasks would include image editing, social media post creation, email campaigns and other online marketing.
Note: While we finish the retail space, the role will begin focused on ecommerce operations. Retail responsibilities will be added as the storefront opens.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist walk-in customers with warmth and genuine product knowledge
- Learn the story behind what we sell, materials, styles, and what makes each piece worth carrying
- Guide customers through purchases honestly and confidently
- Pack, label, and ship ecommerce orders with complete accuracy, every time
- Handle customer service correspondence across multiple online platforms
- Process returns and exchanges following established policies, with good judgment
- Manage daily orders across platforms including Shopify, Etsy, eBay, and others
- Learn and maintain a detailed jewelry SKU system across hundreds of products
- Keep the space organized, clean, and guest-ready at all times

- You care about the product. You don't have to be a jewelry expert coming in, but you have to be the kind of person who gets genuinely curious about what they're selling, materials, styles, why a piece is interesting. That interest shows, and customers feel it.
- You follow the system. We've built processes for a reason. You take them seriously, execute them consistently, and raise questions through the right channels rather than improvising around them.
- You're a natural with people. Customers feel genuinely welcome around you, not just assisted.
- Detail-obsessed. A mislabeled package or an unclear customer email actually bothers you. Good.
- Calm and steady. Multiple things are happening at once and you manage it without rushing or cutting corners.
- Sound judgment. You know when to follow the policy exactly and when a situation genuinely calls for a thoughtful exception.
- Accountable. When something goes wrong, you own it and fix it, no deflecting.
Requirements
- Retail or customer-facing experience (required)
- Strong written communication for email customer service
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Experience with order fulfillment, shipping, or ecommerce operations
- Experience in marketing or graphic design type of work
- Ability to work independently and manage a full shift alone without supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail, errors in packing, labeling, or product selection are not acceptable
- A genuine appreciation for unique, craft-oriented products
