Learning Express Glen Ellyn is looking for a reliable, energetic Retail Sales Associate who loves working with people and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.
We are more than just a toy store — we create experiences through exceptional customer service, product demonstrations, and community events.
Responsibilities:
- Engage customers and drive sales through upselling and add-ons
- Confidently demo toys and stay current on product knowledge
- Provide high-quality customer service and assist with product selection
- Operate POS system (Counterpoint) efficiently and accurately
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise (boxes may exceed 30 lbs)
- Support and participate in store events
- Assist with social media content when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Saturday–Wednesday: 10 AM–5 PM
- Thursday–Friday: 10 AM–8 PM
- Shifts: 10–5 (Sat–Wed) and 10–3:30 or 3:30–8:30 (Thurs–Fri)
We are seeking candidates with general open availability and flexibility in their schedule.
Qualifications:
- No retail experience required — we will train the right person
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to learn and comfortable interacting with customers
- Able to work in a team environment
