\nPosition Summary\n
\n
\nRetail Sales Associates are responsible for creating a warm, friendly, and polished customer experience while helping with the day-to-day operations of the shop. This role includes customer service, sales, restocking products, maintaining displays, and helping keep the space clean and organized.\n
\n
\nThis is a part-time position with flexible weekday scheduling. Weekend availability is required.\n
\n
\nOur anticipated opening date is mid September. Exact start dates and training schedules will be communicated as we get closer to opening.\n
\n
\nBecause we operate inside a public market environment, the pace of the day can vary from relaxed and conversational to fast-paced and high-energy. We’re looking for people who can comfortably adapt to both.\n

\nResponsibilities\n
\n
\nWelcome customers and provide a positive, engaging shopping experience\n
\nEducate customers about products and offer thoughtful recommendations\n
\nAccurately process sales using the point-of-sale system\n
\nPackage products carefully and professionally\n
\nRestock displays and help maintain visually appealing product presentation\n
\nMonitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items to management\n
\nAssist with receiving and organizing deliveries\n
\nHelp maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment\n
\nFollow food safety and product handling procedures\n
\nAssist with opening and closing responsibilities\n
\nSupport promotions, seasonal launches, and special market events as needed\n

\nSunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM\n

\nQualifications\n
\n
\nFriendly, dependable, and customer-focused\n
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n
\nComfortable working independently and as part of a team\n
\nMust be comfortable working independently during slower periods\n
\nAble to stay organized and productive in a busy retail environment\n
\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs\n
\nReliable transportation and punctual attendance\n
\nRetail, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required\n
