Retail Sales Associate (Night Shift)

Overview

Brighton Ski Resort is seeking passionate and friendly Retail Sales Associates to join our night crew team for the 2026/2027 winter season!

As a Resort Sales Associate, you'll be a key point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service in gear and merchandise sales. Based in the heart of the Brighton Center, you'll help guests select outerwear and gear to make the most of their time on the mountain. This application is for the night shift, which is typically from noon to 8 pm. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love snow sports, and enjoy sharing your expertise, you'll be a great fit for our small but mighty retail team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet all guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Be attentive to guests' needs and remain alert and free from distractions, such as personal conversations and cell phones.
• Assist guests with purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate gear and products.
• Provide expert advice on outerwear, equipment, and merchandise selection.
• Act as a guest resource, offering helpful information on resort-wide amenities including ski school, dining, events, first aid, and mountain layout.
• Accurately process transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor with properly displayed and priced products.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional, positive manner.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 18+ years old
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25+lbs unassisted
• Flexible availability during the ski season (including weekends and holidays)
• Reliable transportation to and from work in winter conditions
• Ability to pass a background check
• Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred (but not required)
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensure products are correctly displayed and priced.
• Other duties as assigned.
