Overview Monmouth Cards is looking for Retail Sales Associates to join our UConn-area store. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role focused on delivering a great in-store experience, helping customers find products, and supporting daily store operations. Ideal for students or anyone interested in trading cards and collectibles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases, questions, and product recommendations
- Provide a friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging in-store experience
- Support sales of sealed product, single cards, and supplies
- Help maintain store organization, cleanliness, and merchandising
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Restock inventory and assist with product displays
- Support in-store events, promotions, and busy periods
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Interest in trading cards, collectibles, or sports is a plus
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
