Retail Sales Education Specialist Location: San Francisco, California Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Position Overview A global beauty and personal care brand seeks a Retail Sales Education Specialist for a six-month field-based contract in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role drives sell-through at key retail accounts through product education and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-store product education and training sessions for retail beauty staff
Build and maintain productive relationships with store managers and beauty advisors
Monitor product placement, merchandising standards, and inventory at assigned accounts
Drive sell-through by educating consumers on product benefits and usage
Execute brand events, launches, and demonstrations at retail locations
Submit timely field activity reports and competitive insights to the brand team
Requirements
2+ years of retail sales, beauty education, or brand ambassador experience
Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for field travel
Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends
Based in or near the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred Qualifications
Experience representing a national or global beauty brand
Established relationships with Ulta, Sephora, or department store beauty counters
Cosmetology license or esthetics background
