Accountable for all daily cash control procedures and point-of-sale transactions.
Receives and processes incoming and outbound merchandise shipments.
Maintains stock balances and monitor inventory levels.
Facilitate special customer orders and merchandise transfers.
Processes Mark Out of Stocks (MOS) and Return to Vendor (RTV) merchandise.
Complete inventory documentation and coordinate inter-store transfers.
Prepare for and support annual store inventory counts.
Execute floor sets and maintain merchandising standards.
Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is properly stored.
Coordinate store maintenance needs and communicate facility issues when necessary.
Retail Sales Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:
Open and close the store following established procedures.
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle customer returns and exchanges according to company policy.
Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email or other communication channels.
Processes freight and inter-store transfers for markdowns.
Maintains organized stockroom and support store inventory preparation.
Prepare and process merchandise orders for customers.
Identify and report on safety and housekeeping issues.
Restock the store when necessary.
Routinely cleans store.
Reports all customer complaints to Store Manager.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Retail Sales Specialist Requirements and Skills:
2+ years of retail sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Positive and professional attitude with commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
Strong working knowledge of common business applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Quick learner with a willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
