Alpine Home Medical is hiring a Regional Retail Sales Manager to lead marketing, merchandising, and sales strategy across our 11 retail stores. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced retail professional who knows how to turn store layout, staff training, and vendor partnerships into measurable sales growth. You'll report directly to the President and be accountable for the performance of every store's marketing strategy and its implementation.Alpine Home Medical has been improving customers' lives since 1997. Over 28 years we've grown to 11 stores across Idaho and Utah, guided by a commitment to genuine care and smart, practical solutions for our customers.What You'll DoDevelop and implement store-level and company-wide growth goals in partnership with senior management.Train and develop store staff on product knowledge, upselling techniques, and promotions.Own store sales performance and report results to senior management following marketing plan implementation.Drive retail sales growth by enhancing the customer marketing experience at every location.Build outside marketing relationships and referral partnerships to grow retail sales.Plan and lead efficient, timely training programs for store staff.Coordinate with Store Managers on staffing and patient care issues.Review financial statements, sales reports, and performance data to track productivity and goal progress.Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure timely, efficient reordering across stores.Plan, develop, and implement company-wide showroom and retail-area layouts that reflect Alpine's standard of excellence.Partner with the Director of Purchasing on new product offerings and vendor pricing/terms negotiations.Lead regular staff meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by management.What You'll Need5+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management, retail marketing, or a closely related field.A track record of building retail sales/marketing plans that produced measurable results and improved close rates.Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or other medical insurance billing requirements (or the ability to learn this quickly).Experience coaching, developing, and managing the performance of a team.Ability to translate industry and retail trends into effective, store-level marketing strategies.Experience building vendor/supplier relationships that increase product visibility and sales.Strong leadership presence with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.Ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality.Excellent verbal and written communication, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.Strong computer literacy.High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.Additional RequirementsThis role involves frequent travel across Alpine's 11 stores (Idaho Falls, ID to St. George, UT) - a valid driver's license and good driving record are required.Willingness to be trained on relevant equipment and supplies.Periodic availability outside standard office hours.Why Work Here?Full-time employees at Alpine Home Medical receive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; a 401(k) program with company match; paid time off; and other benefits designed to support long-term security.
