Retail Shift Leader

We're looking for an individual to start as a sales associate, learn the ropes and quickly progress to shift leader. Think fast paced like your local coffee shop, but cute kids clothing instead! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise team of retail sales workers
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Train and evaluate employees
• Resolve escalated customer complaints

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

Provide Customer Service - greet customers and assist with purchases at the register, provide fitting room assistance, explain rewards system and sign up new customers.

Process Merchandise for the Sales Floor - tag and hang merchandise according to store procedure, prepare shoes, toys and other non-clothing items for the sales floor, run merchandise to sales floor or backstock as appropriate, maintain organized sales floor and merchandise displays.

We promote from within. Candidates that excel as a Sales Associate will quickly move to positions with more responsibility and compensation.

Candidates must have evening and weekend availability. We don't ask you to work every weekend, but at least two weekends a month.
